Entrance lobby makes the first impression to the house, and the developers treat this issue quite seriously. The entrance lobby is as important as the overall architecture of the building. Many developers tend to the classical style in designing the entrance lobby. Typically, the entrance is decorated with natural materials such as stone or wood (with a greater preference to stone, because it is more wear proof). During the formation of the Russian real estate market, the attitude to the design of the public areas was different: often due to renovations old historical buildings were converted into an elite facility, but the entrance lobby did not have such a spacious area as in new luxury buildings. Moreover, the developers have tried to extend the infrastructure by placing beauty salons, swimming pools, gyms, designed only for residents of the building. According to contemporary standards it is considered to be unnecessary. At the same time, with all these facilities there was no enough place in the lobby. After the renovation of the historical buildings, the developers started to build up new elite objects. The requirements of the customers were always getting higher and higher. Nowadays the buildings with excessive infrastructure in the center are not so popular. As the infrastructure in the central part of the city is well developed and all the facilities are located nearby, the appearance of the building and its front entrance is becoming more and more important. This implies that the market has come to a new stage and this means not only the cultural growth of the society but also the improvement of the quality of life.
